How it works

Every pondless waterfall or stream is powered by a hidden underground reservoir that keeps water flowing in a continuous, soothing cycle. Tucked out of sight beneath natural rock and gravel, this reservoir takes the place of a traditional pond — giving you the beauty of running water without the open basin. In New England’s climate, these features can run for weeks before needing a refill, and when we design a larger reservoir, it even captures rainwater to keep the system going on its own. It’s a beautiful, low-maintenance way to bring the sights and sounds of nature into your yard — and if sustainability is your goal, an enlarged reservoir makes your waterfall completely self-sustaining.
